There are two ways for their money to begin. For those students who are not attending summer school, they can be certified for what is called an advanced pay for the fall semester, we have to have their request in writing, and it must accompany our paperwork before we can send it up. So for those that are not attending summer school, now is the time to make sure that paperwork is in order for the fall. For those students who are attending both summer sessions, we are now able to process their paperwork for fall. All they have to do is drop by our office in room 205 see in the administration building, and we'll be able to fill out the necessary paperwork to begin to fall paperwork.","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://arizona.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1953/collection_resources/73800/file/159483#t=32.0,89.999"},{"id":"https://arizona.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1953/collection_resources/73800/file/159483/transcript/37705/annotation/3","type":"Annotation","motivation":"transcribing","body":{"type":"TextualBody","value":"UNKNOWN SPEAKER: What about veterans in other parts of the state? This is money that the VA pays to the veteran, in addition to and does not come away from his regular gi entitlement. This entitlement amounts to $65 a month up to a maximum of $780. During the time that you're on the GI Bill, this can be used to this has to be used to pay a tutor in the class in which you're having difficulty. The VA also has what's called an educational loan, which is very similar to the federally insured student loan program. There's a 15 $100 maximum for an academic year amount available, it's at 7% interest. The payback criteria is exactly like the federal loans, you don't begin paying it back until nine months after you leave school. You have 10 years to pay it back. And the only difference is that you have to be turned down by two lending institutions before the VA will even consider you. So it's kind of like the last alternative in the VA is viewpoint. they'd prefer you get a federally insured loan or an ADSL or some other type of financial aid. If you're turned down, you give this information to the VA and then they will determine if they can give you a VA loan.","format":"text/plain"},"target":"https://arizona.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1953/collection_resources/73800/file/159483#t=300.0,381.999"},{"id":"https://arizona.aviaryplatform.com/collections/1953/collection_resources/73800/file/159483/transcript/37705/annotation/21","type":"Annotation","motivation":"transcribing","body":{"type":"TextualBody","value":"UNKNOWN SPEAKER: I've been talking with Larry Chapman coordinator of Veterans Affairs at the University of Arizona.
