He starred in both of the summer plays last summer at the university and he's done a lot of commercials. And that's where the term repertory comes from. And it's most theatre departments in colleges and universities around the country have difficulty doing one Shakespearean play a year, but we're doing two at the same time. And I chose to put it in the southwest because I thought it would be an imaginative way to let the students find out how funny Shakespeare is in a very, very contemporary, close to home kind of setting. In the same way with the audience. I think the audience can identify with the references and enjoy them. At least Eisenberg is a graduate student in playwriting. And Elise wrote and performs the song, The Ballad of Kate and Petruchio for the production. And what happened is that one day I went to my playwriting class and I said, Gee, I wish I had a ballad to go along with this Southwestern version of The Taming of the Shrew. And the next day, at least walked into class and said, here, here's your ballot. And she had written it overnight. And she said, Come on up on stage, and I'll sing it for you. And I said, What do you mean? And she said, Well, I'm a street singer. And so I went up on the stage and she sang it.
