The University of Arizona press has come up with a new publication titled Southwestern Medical dictionary, which is very different from any other dictionary in print. This dictionary contains translations from Spanish to English and English to Spanish and is designed to help the patient tell a story and the medical practitioner to understand it. The book contains some 1200 English entries and more than 1300 entries in Spanish. Each entry is listed according to part of speech and the gender is given for all nouns and the Spanish to English entries include examples of sentences using the word with the proper translation.
