The season ending basketball game played earlier this month in Tucson between our rivals the University of Arizona and Arizona State University. Mark the third annual reunion of basketball teams of 25 and 50 years ago at the University of Arizona. One of those honored at halftime of the game is our guest today. The captain of the U of A is 1919 basketball team native to Sona, J. Crew Herndon, Prue, lettered in basketball and 19 1718 and 19 was captain of the U of A's track team in 1919. For some time after his graduation from the University of Arizona, Pru was the first recognized basketball official in the state of Arizona by the American Basketball officials Association, a former comptroller at the University of Arizona now retired, who served in World Wars one and two, and was an officer on the Arizona National Guard. Bru, it's a treat to have you with us here today.
