Emil F. "Nick" Schaaf was a resident of Cochise, Arizona. He was a historian at the University of Arizona. This collection contains a wide variety of oral histories conducted by Schaaf circa 1973. Interviewees include Arizona pioneers and prominent citizens. The oral histories include narrations by the pioneers themselves and discussions of how families came to live in certain parts of Arizona.
